Science Communication and Outreach Projects
This space highlights my community outreach projects, science communication initiatives, and the many ways I work to bring science advocacy and public health awareness beyond the lab and clinic, into everyday life, where it can spark connection, inspire action, and drive grassroots impact.

Drawn To Discovery
Drawn to Discovery is a storytelling initiative that amplifies the voices of women and other underrepresented voices in STEM through illustrated interviews. Instead of spotlighting only the famous, this project celebrates everyday journeys in science, from graduate students to early-career researchers.
By turning real scientists’ words into engaging comics, the project highlights curiosity, resilience, and joy in science, making their journeys visible and relatable. The mission is to inspire high school students, especially from underrepresented communities, to see themselves in science, know that their stories matter too, and know that there is space for them too to belong in science.
